KARANITA is a luxury motor yacht built in 2005 by the renowned shipyard Maiora SPA in Italy. 

She has undergone a substantial refit program throughout 2017-2019, updating her amenities and is now in as good as new condition.

With a classy and super quality Feather Mahogany interior, Karanita is a spacious super yacht designed specifically to enjoy the life on board and well designed to be offered for charter with the highest standards and is more than ideal for guests searching comfort and elegance at it's best.

Thanks to the new zero-speed stabilisers and the large jacuzzi in the fly bridge, you would be able to enjoy anchoring in in the most idyllic beaches and coves with maximum stability.

Captain: KARLOS

Captain Karlos was born in the south-east coast of Spain in a small fisherman village and started sailing with he was 5 years old. The sea became a passion while sailing on great variety of vessels gaining a wealth of experience. Previously in 1995 he passed his first professional maritime ticket of 200 GT and he kept sailing until he become professional Master 3000 GT in 2000.

Karlos spent most of his life at sea involving on different maritime works such as the “Spanish Maritime Rescue Society”, on passenger & cargo ships, in the yacht´s industry for more than 25 years, sailing races on catamarans mainly, maritime´s teacher in Spain, diving works around the Med and Ocean protection & conservation worldwide... Can be said Karlos is like a globetrotters of the seas since he is being sailing around the Med, Red Sea, North & South Atlantic Ocean, Indian Ocean, South Pacific Ocean and Antarctica waters. Always willing to share his knowledge and his enthusiastic for the oceans with a positive aptitude and pleasant personality. Responsibility, trustworthy, enjoyment and safety are her main goals.

Deck/Stew: ROMINA

Romina was born in village of Valencia by the Med, Spain and due to her father´s duties into the yachties she was in touch with the sea since an early age. Because of her passion for the sea and the animals in 2008 she passed her BSc (Marine Science) at the Catholic University in Valencia and from then on she decide to start working at sea becoming professional diver in 2009, professional seaman in 2015 and then professional port skipper in 2016.

She has been sailing on superyachts as a chief stew and decky around the Med, Caribbean and USA waters and currently here in Australia and not only on motor yachts but on sailing vessels as well. Since 2018 and due to her commitment and her passion for the sea she has become professional Master 3000 GT. Romina is a hard worker crew-member, a a lovely, gentle and charming person with a style of work which gives you a high level of confidence. Managing the interior/exterior and ensuring that the desires of the guests are met, enables M/Y Karanita to provide an all round excellence.
